Volume fans
Fine extensions joined at the base into handmade fans, placed on one natural lash at a time.
Volume is a second class. Day one is making fans by hand and placing them on a mannequin; day two is choosing a style for a live model and finishing the set. Gaby watches your separation and your spacing and tells you what to change.

Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The two days, in order

Step 1: Day one, morning: making fans
Picking up fine extensions, joining them at the base and checking each fan's shape under the lamp.

Step 2: Day one, afternoon: fans on a mannequin
Placing fans on one natural lash at a time. Gaby checks your separation and spacing.

Step 3: Day two, morning: choosing a style
Matching the style to the model's natural lashes: how many there are, which way they grow and how full a set suits them.

Step 4: Day two, afternoon: finish and check
Finishing the set, brushing it, looking for gaps and talking through the fill schedule with the model.
Two questions about this class
How do I know I'm ready?
If you can place a classic extension without touching its neighbors, you're ready. Gaby checks at the studio visit, or on the first morning.
What does a volume client come back for?
Fills, usually every two to three weeks. The fills and removal class covers them.
